Manchester Road, towards Crosspool.

I used to walk this road from my student accommodation - Ranmoor House on Shore Lane - to a pub called The King’s Head over to the right. It was razed many moons ago, and more recently so was the original iteration of Ranmoor House.

Back to the present. the traffic light is so far into the pavement, I feel it’s my “permission” to keep walking; I pause to try to remember the exact location of the pub, nonetheless.
