Endcliffe Park

A late night walk around starts at the Ranmoor Inn, Fulwood - but with no chance for a pint of their excellent Timothy Taylor Landlord, sadly. Walking down Riverdale Road, I look into the park. A passer-by on the other side of the road is talking excitedly about politics to someone on his mobile, and walking very quickly.

I decide to wander into the park, as I know there are nice lights in there.

The bench is gently lit by one of them. Only when I am processing the picture do I notice the engraving in the wood. “In Memoriam” seems to apply more widely now.
