It’s a Friday night, several weeks into Lockdown. May 8th to be precise. I decide to take a big circular drive around the city, hoping to get a wider feel for how the districts are reacting, and to do a kind of “Friday night” comparison. I know how this city “should” look at the end of the working week.

Many parts still look desolate, but certain districts are busier than when Lockdown first was announced.

As I approach this part of Lowedge, I am drawn to the light, and to the prospect of capturing the apartment blocks, set way back of the road. I park near the fire station and start walking.

Can I resist a bus stop picture? No way.
